Water Based Stone & Masonry Impregnator Sealer

Universeal Hydroseal is a solvent free water based impregnator that penetrates into the surface of the stone to protect against oil and water based stains.

Universeal Hydroseal can be applied to grout, travertine, tumbled marble, pavers, limestone, slate, quarry tiles, sandstone & all types of masonry surfaces. This product is UV resistant and does not yellow and can be applied to new installations as soon as 12 hours after completion. For best results we recommend spray application. [Data Sheet]

Coverage:

Up to 30m2 per litre dependant on porosity of surface. Check the surface after application to ensure full effectiveness of impregnator. Apply a second or third coat if necessary.

Directions for use:

The surface should be completely dry, clean and free of stains. Shake the bottle well before use. Apply generously and evenly using a mop, brush, roller or sponge. Ensure the material is evenly distributed on polished surfaces by wiping over several times. Universeal HydroSeal can also be applied by spraying evenly with a pump sprayer and then distributing using a sponge. Alternatively, product can be applied with a brush, sponge or cloth, applying a generous but even coat. Do not allow the product to foam. Highly absorbent surfaces should receive a second application after approximately 20-30 minutes. Avoid puddles and drips which should be wiped away immediately. Ensure that all surplus product is removed, do not allow it to dry on the surface. The full effect of protection will be achieved after 48 hours. Keep the surface free of water and oil during this curing time. Clean all tools with water immediately after use.

Please Note:

Some materials may appear slightly darker after treatment. If no prior product experience exists or in cases of doubt, we recommend a trial application. Always treat the entire surface in a room. This product does not protect against acid ingress. Remove splashes on wood, glass, PVC, lacquered surfaces etc with a damp cloth. The temperature of the surface to be treated should be between 10°C and 25°C.
