Coverage:

Up to 15m2 per litre. Coverage will vary depending on surface porosity.

Directions for use:

The surface to be treated must be completely dry and clean. Apply Universeal Terracotta Impregnator evenly and generously with a clean roller or brush. Terracotta and natural clay surfaces tend to be very porous, it may be necessary to apply 2-3 coats to achieve desired effect. Please Note: The longer the time is left between applying coats the less solution will be necessary to achieve desired effect. DO NOT LET EXCESS SOLUTION DRY HARD ON THE SURFACE. Application Temperature: the temperature of the surface should be between 5°C and 25°C. *Drying Time: Light foot traffic after approx 30-45 minutes, completely cured after 48 hours. It is advised to allow at least 24 hours drying time before the commencement of grouting. After the impregnation process has been completed it is recommended that Universeal Terracotta Sealer is applied to the surface of the terracotta. This product will give extra stain protection as well as giving an enhanced shiny finish.

Please Note:

Universeal Terracotta Impregnator is not suitable for use on non-absorbent, polished or very finely honed surfaces. Please ensure that no moisture can penetrate into the sealed surface, and that moisture can not be transported through the sides or surface from the ground. Moisture inside the Terracotta may cause the sealant to turn white if the sealer has not already fully cured. Please note: This product may deepen the colour in some cases. Always first test the Terracotta Impregnator in a small inconspicuous area to determine suitability for intended use.

Attention: Ventilate properly during application and drying time. Vapors may cause drowsiness and dizziness.
